Wow! Mom found out today that she is the Garden Club's Yard of the Month. I don't care that it's a relatively small town of 6500 people. She's 84 years old and does everything herself except mow the lawn! Of course, this is also why she's in such great shape...working 2 hours a day in her yard no matter what the temperature. I just wish she would use a camera and take photos of her yard since I can't be there to do it all the time.

Every time we visit, Bailee wants to cut a bouquet of flowers...and it's no problem considering the hundreds of blooms at any time ranging from poppies to hollyhocks to roses to bluebonnets to pansies to columbine!
