RIP Lola (squeak squeak)

We were a little late with the funeral (the mouse has been in a box in our freezer for a month) but finally laid Lola to rest yesterday. Bailee made the "headstone" at her after school program and I love the #2 best mouse in the world part. the #1 mouse, Brownie, is still alive and stinking up Bailee's bedroom.

RIP Lola!

Family & Friends Cookbook

I'm planning to make scrapbook pages of our favorite family recipes and then have these printed as a book for each member of our family. I want to capture the memory behind the recipes...more than the recipes themselves (since I really don't cook). I'm hoping to finish this in time to print as Christmas gifts in 2009. I'll keep adding more of the pages as they are finished.

School of Life

This scrapbook will document Bailee's years of schooling...starting with Preschool. The scrapbook is modeled after Stacy Julian's School of Life scrapbooks where she does 5 pages per year. (We'll see if I can limit myself to that many...) I'll continue to add to this scrapbook over time.
